New York Yankees walk off on Washington Nationals on Giancarlo Stanton single in 9th

Joe Ross walked four batters in the first three innings, one of whom came around to score, but gave up just two hits through five. The third hit of the day for the Yankees went out to left, however, on a solo home run by Gleyber Torres, 2-0, and Ross’s fifth walk of the game ended his outing one batter later in the sixth.

New York’s starter Domingo Germán gave up just three hits through six scoreless, but Josh Bell doubled to start the seventh and scored one out later when Kyle Schwarber hit one to right field for a game-tying two-run blast that ended the Yankees’ starter’s outing, 2-2.
