WASHINGTON -- There is a possibility that Nationals first baseman/outfielder Clint Robinson could miss the three-game series against the Marlins this weekend because his wife is expecting to have their baby girl at any moment.
"This is my first child," Robinson said. "My wife and I are scared, excited, pretty much every emotion you could have. She is due any day now. Who knows when that will be? Hopefully soon. I know she is ready for it to be here."
Robinson, 30, is in his first season in the big leagues and he has been a solid contributor to the Nationals off the bench.
