Nats activate Janssen, send Solis to DL

The Nationals made some changes to their bullpen on Friday afternoon by activating right-hander Casey Janssen off the disabled list and placing lefty Sammy Solis on the 15-day DL.

Janssen just completed his rehab from right shoulder tendinitis, while Solis will begin his recovery from left shoulder inflammation.

Janssen, 33, is set to make his Nationals debut after signing with the club as a free agent on Feb. 2. He previously played eight seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays and holds a 3.52 career ERA.

Janssen hurt his shoulder in spring training and recently completed a minor league rehab assignment.
