GAME IN A NUTSHELL: After struggling down the stretch of spring training with an ankle injury and allowing eight earned runs in his first two starts of the 2015 season, Stephen Strasburg returned to his old self on Sunday afternoon in a dominant performance against the Phillies in a 4-0 Nationals win.
Strasburg was so good, in fact, he was nearly perfect. He retired the first 14 batters he faced and needed only 32 pitches through the first four innings in an impressive display of efficiency. It was a stark turn from his previous outing when he threw 109 pitches in just 5 1/3 innings of work.
