One hundred and seventy round diamonds. Fifty-five custom-cut rubies. A “Go 1-0 everyday” inscription.
Those are just some of the highlights for the Washington Nationals’ 2019 World Series, which were unveiled Sunday evening in a livestream to celebrate the team’s first-ever championship.
The rings, created by Jostens, contain many nods to the Nationals’ championship run. They contain, for instance, 30 rubies that represent the 30 runs scored in the Nationals’ World Series victories over the Houston Astros. It also features 32 blue sapphires for the seven walk off wins, 13 shutouts, eight-game winning streak and the four postseason rounds won.
