The Washington Nationals announced the addition of two more relievers today, inking veteran relievers Joe Nathan and Matt Albers to minor league deals with invitations to Spring Training.
Nathan, who turned 42 in November, has saved 377 games over the course of his 16-year career, but the veteran right-hander has made just 11 appearances total over the last two seasons after he underwent Tommy John surgery in 2015.
Nathan pitched for the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants last season, though he made just 10 appearances and threw 6 1⁄3 innings.
