Stephen Strasburg was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday and is in line to start for the Washington Nationals that night in their game against the Atlanta Braves.
Strasburg, who has battled a variety of injuries and ailments this season, experienced tightness in his neck in late May and was placed on the DL on May 30. He made one rehabilitation start, allowing two runs, one earned, while giving up four hits and striking out six over five innings for Double-A Harrisburg on June 17.
He will enter Tuesday’s game against the Braves with a 3-5 record and 6.
