Right-handed reliever Joaquin Benoit has agreed to a deal with the Washington Nationals, ESPN's Jerry Crasnick reports.
The 15-year veteran has a 58-49 career record and a 3.83 career ERA.
Beniot, 40, split last season between the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates and was a combined 1-6 with two saves. He had a 4.65 ERA in 50 1/3 innings over 52 appearances.
