Nationals pummel Brewers with eight homers, win series

Matt Adams danced, Victor Robles got his groove on and Juan Soto also danced — and then danced again.

The Nationals got plenty of practice with their dugout home run parties by homering a team-record eight times on Sunday afternoon to blitz the Milwaukee Brewers 16-8.

The game-time temperature was 95 degrees. And with perhaps some juiced-up baseballs, the homers were flying toward Navy Yard all day with 12 overall.

Soto homered twice to give him 28 this season and 50 in his two-year career. He has hit two homers in a game five times in his career, which began in May 2018.
