Washington Nationals' 2B/3B Anthony Rendon was placed on the 15-Day DL with a "left quadriceps strain" and the Nats called Emmanuel Burriss up from Triple-A Syracuse to take his spot on the roster.

Though he declined to go into detail about Harper's absence after the 22-year-old outfielder pulled up with what looked like a flare up of the hamstring issue that's been bothering him late in Wednesday's extra innings game, he did go into some detail about what was bothering Rendon.
