Nationals news: Nats tackle arbitration

The Washington Nationals had six players eligible for arbitration, and settled with five of them. The lone exception was new Nationals first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, who is headed to arbitration court. The Nats filed at $10.3 million, while Lowe filed at $11.1 million. The MLB Trade Rumors projection for Lowe was somewhere in the middle at $10.7 million.

The Nationals settled with backup catcher Riley Adams for $850,000. They settled with former All-Star Josiah Gray for $1.35 million, despite the fact the right hander will miss most of next season.
