Earned Run Ale, the beer brewed by Devils Backbone Brewing in partnership with the Washington Nationals, is coming to bars and store shelves for the first time.
The beer debuted in 2017 and was exclusively sold on draft at Nationals Park. The Nationals and Devils Backbone announced to reporters Monday that it will be available in stores in Maryland, Virginia and the District starting Monday.
Earned Run Ale (a play on “earned run average”) will be sold in four-packs of 16-ounce cans.
“It’s a great opportunity for consumers to enjoy ERA when the Nationals are not having a homestand here in the stadium,” said Elizabeth Scalla, a brand manager for Devils Backbone.
