The Washington Nationals finalized their 25-man roster for the World Series Tuesday afternoon, making only one change from their National League Championship Series roster.
The Nationals stuck with a seven-man bullpen but added Joe Ross in place of Austin Voth.
Ross has not played this postseason and went 4-4 during the regular season with a career-high 5.48 ERA. He started the year in the bullpen but eventually transitioned to a No. 5 starter option, though Washington will not need a No. 5 starter in the World Series.
Voth, who missed the cut for the series, similarly was a spot starter for Washington relegated to the bullpen for the NLDS and NLCS, but he was never called on to pitch.
