The Washington Nationals had to wait for 57 picks before making their first selection of the 2015 MLB Draft, with the 58th overall pick, a compensation pick for failing to sign 2nd Round pick Andrew Suarez last season (he went 61st to the San Francisco Giants this year), but they only had to wait for ten prospects to go off the board before making their second pick tonight.
With the 69th overall pick, the Nats took high school outfielder Blake Perkins out of Verrado High School in Arizona.
Perkins, 18, has a commitment to Arizona State.
