Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer will be the National League’s starting pitcher for the 2018 All-Star Game at Nationals Park on Tuesday.
NL manager Dave Roberts announced Scherzer would start at Roberts‘ press conference Monday.
Scherzer, a three-time Cy Young Award winner, will play in his seventh consecutive All-Star Game and start his second straight. He struck out two batters in one inning of work last year in Miami.
