WASHINGTON -- Mark Reynolds homered twice and drove in a career-high 10 runs, Max Scherzer won for the first time since June 5, and the Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins 18-4 on Saturday night.
Reynolds became the 15th MLB player with a 10-RBI game and second in franchise history; Anthony Rendon had 10 RBIs on April 30, 2017.
Reynolds also became the fourth player to go a perfect 5-for-5 or better with at least 10 RBIs since the RBI became an official statistic in 1920. Scooter Gennett and Rendon both accomplished that feat last season.
