The Detroit Tigers have addressed a glaring need as they've agreed to a five-year, $110 million deal with free agent pitcher Jordan Zimmermann on Sunday morning, sources confirmed to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick.
The deal is pending a physical, the source told ESPN.
The Tigers entered the offseason intent on acquiring a pair of pitchers to round out their starting rotation, and landing the 29-year-old right-hander was a good first step.
