Veteran right-handed relievers Joe Nathan and Matt Albers agreed to a minor league contracts with the Washington Nationals on Tuesday.
Both players received an invitation to spring training.
The 42-year-old Nathan has 377 career saves. He pitched for the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants last season, finishing 2-0 and allowing no runs in 10 appearances.
The six-time All-Star has undergone two Tommy John surgeries in his career.
