Washington Nationals’ skipper Davey Martinez did everything he could to keep the team on the right track when they got off to a 19-31 start in the first 50 games, and, as you know, the 74-38 finish to the season earned them a spot in the Wild Card Game, then they came back to win that game, and beat the LA Dodgers in the NLDS, before sweeping St. Louis to earn a spot in the World Series.
