Norris followed with a solo shot off Justin Nicolino in the seventh inning for his second home run of the spring as Norris continues to make the best of an odd situation. The Nationals have too many catchers on their current 40-man roster, and with Matt Wieters set to begin the season as the starter, Norris is almost certain to be traded.
Nationals right-hander A.J. Cole allowed some hard contact, but he did not allow a hit in four innings in his third and best Grapefruit League start. The Marlins scored twice against his replacement, Joe Nathan, on RBI singles from Ramon Cabrera and Adeiny Hechavarria.
