Off to a red-hot start to 2018, Bryce Harper connected on his MLB-leading fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning on Saturday, breaking a tie with three other players.
Harper's solo home run, which put the Nationals up 2-1, was an opposite-field shot on a 2-2 fastball from Mets righty Hansel Robles. The ball left his bat at 108 mph and traveled 405 feet.
BOSTON -- Xander Bogaerts continues to go off at the plate, in particular against the Rays. The shortstop had already produced a monster game by just the second inning on Saturday afternoon, setting a career high with six RBIs.
