NEW YORK -- Bryce Harper got hit by a pair of errant pitches on Tuesday night against the Yankees, the second of which caused him to leave the game in the eighth inning of the Nationals' 3-0 loss.
Harper was drilled on the left foot by a pitch from right-hander Dellin Betances in the eighth inning. He took a few hobbled steps toward first base before he quickly turned back around toward the dugout to come out of the game.
Brian Goodwin entered the game as a pinch-runner to take Harper's place.
