Frank Robinson in poor health: report

Hall of Fame outfielder and former Washington Nationals manager Frank Robinson is in poor health and has been in hospice care for the past several months, USA Today reported.

Robinson, 83, is known as MLB’s first black manager in addition to having a legendary playing career. He won two World Series as a player and is a 14-time All-Star. In 1966, he won the Triple Crown during his first year with the Baltimore Orioles.

As a manager, Robinson recorded a .475 winning percentage (1,065–1,176) over a 31-year span.
