WASHINGTON -- Adam Eaton continued his hot start in his first three games with the Nationals, launching a solo home run to right-center field in the first inning of Thursday's game against the Marlins.
Eaton homered on the first pitch he saw from Marlins right-hander Tom Koehler. The ball came off his bat at 99 mph and traveled 383 feet, as measured by Statcast™.
The Nationals acquired Eaton in a trade with the White Sox this offseason in exchange for three of their top pitching prospects, and they are thrilled with his early production.
