Dodgers score seven runs to break the game open

The Los Angeles Dodgers scored seven runs in the top of the sixth inning against the Washington National bullpen on Monday night to take an 8-2 lead in Game 3 of the NLDS.

Patrick Corbin took over for starter Anibal Sanchez and allowed six runs on four hits and recorded just two outs. Wander Suero, another reliever, gave up a homer to the first batter he faced — Justin Turner.

The bullpen has been a problem all year for Washington, so much so that the Nationals used Stephen Strasburg in the wild-card game out of the pen and then Max Scherzer pitched one inning of relief in the Game 2 win over the Dodgers on Friday.
