It’s the era of pics or it didn’t happen. There wasn’t any radio or television coverage of the game between the Washington Nationals and New York Mets on Friday, but there were reporters with their phones rolling when Tim Tebow stepped in against the defending NL Cy Young award winner, Max Scherzer, and went down swinging, 1-2-3.
It was a quick, relatively painless at bat for Tebow, the one-time NFL QB, who’s attempting a second (third?) career in baseball.
