Bryce Harper and Jayson Werth have both been with the Washington Nationals since 2012, the year widely regarded as the year the Nats made the jump from mediocrity to relevance.
However, that year, Harper was a rookie, and Werth—even at the time— was a grizzled veteran. But four seasons later, the two are now are on more of an equal playing field, both having racked up a considerable amount of time (granted, one more than the other) in the majors.
Now sharing a similar status, the two have been part of each other’s lives a little more, which we saw when Jayson Werth was part of Bryce Harper’s wedding party this past December.
