We tried something new this week on ‘Baseball in the District,’ as Tim Murray of ESPN 980 and I brought our guest in studio to do a roundtable discussion. Tom Schad of the Washington Times joined us and covered many topics regarding the Nationals over the course of a long conversation.
We talked about the impact of having Denard Span and Jayson Werth back in the Nationals’ lineup, their current bullpen problems, as well as whether the Nats should be threatened by the surging New York Mets.
