PHOENIX -- Tanner Roark made arguably his best start of the season Thursday.
He just happened to run into another starter in Zack Greinke who was just as effective.
When the game went to the bullpens and into extra innings, Roark and the Nationals were rewarded. Matt Adams continued his strong start to the season, singling to left field to drive in Trea Turner in the 11th inning for a 2-1 victory at Chase Field.
Turner singled to lead off the 11th and Anthony Rendon followed with a walk against Fernando Salas before Adams singled the opposite way off left-hander Andrew Chafin.
