This morning Coach Pete got some good news that came from a visitor who just completed his official visit last night. 2019 4 star inside linebacker Josh Calvert out of Oaks Christian HS, CA committed to UW today over offers from the likes of UCLA, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Michigan State. Listed at 6’3” and 220 pounds Calvert has the ideal frame to play inside linebacker. He is a smart and instinctive player who also plays quarterback for his team. With the Huskies losing both starting inside linebackers to graduation Calvert can come in and compete immediately for playing time.
