The Huskies added another commitment just moments ago when 3 star inside linebacker Cooper McDonald from Northwest HS, TX committed to UW over offers from Baylor, Utah, and Colorado. Listed at 6’3” and around 220 pounds and the 129th best prospect in the state of Texas, McDonald is a tackling machine that reminds me of a bigger version of Ben Bur-Kirven (although not as fast). He is always around the ball when you watch his film. The Huskies have really started to try and land more prospects from the state of Texas and landing McDonald is only a good thing for the program, as he is a good football player from a talent rich state.
