Today the Huskies added an important commitment when 3 star linebacker Carson Bruener from Redmond HS, WA committed to UW. Bruener’s dad was a tight end for the Huskies and he was drafted in the 1st round. With offers form Oregon, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Utah Bruener was seeing his stock rise recently. UW offered him a few days ago and he didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger committing to Coach Pete today. Listed at 6’2” and around 205 pounds Bruener flies around the football field and is a hard hitting player when he makes contact. He will probably need a redshirt year to put on some weight but he is an excellent pickup for the Huskies and the 7th commit in the 2020 class.
