Washington received unexpected good news this afternoon when QB Jackson Stratton out of La Jolla, California committed to the Huskies. He becomes the 3rd recruit in the class of 2022 for the Dawgs.
Stratton is a bit off the radar considering he committed to Washington seemingly immediately upon receiving the offer from Jimmy Lake and OC John Donovan this afternoon. He made the commitment over offers from Nevada and several Ivy league schools. At 6’4 and 205 pounds Stratton clearly has the size the Huskies are looking for at the position. 247 Sports has him listed with a 3-star, 85 rating which was bumped up from an 82 after his play in the spring.
