The Husky coaches got some great news when four-star safety Paul Mencke Jr. from Samuel Clemens HS, TX flipped to UW on signing day after officially visiting the school earlier this month. Washington has officially announced his signing.

Listed at 6’2” and around 180 pounds, Mencke held offers from Notre Dame, Stanford, Colorado, and Duke (who the Huskies were able to get Mencke to flip from).
