Washington continued their rebuild of the roster with a commitment from East Tennessee State guard Quimari Peterson. He averaged 19.5 pts, 4.5 reb, and 3.7 ast this season on the way to winning Southern Conference Player of the Year. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
The 6'1 Peterson began his college career at Indiana State but after one season went the JUCO route. He spent one year at John Logan College averaging 13.5 points, 4.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game before moving on to East Tennessee State.
Peterson immediately took over starting PG duties for ETSU putting up similar numbers to his JUCO stats.
