Washington added another piece to their 2024-25 roster today getting a commitment from Oakland forward Chris Conway. He averaged 10 points and 4.1 rebounds per game last season on 54.2% shooting while starting 35 games for the Golden Grizzlies who upset Kentucky in the NCAA tournament. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Conway’s addition came as a bit of a surprise as his interest in Washington hadn’t been widely reported for his announced commitment. He was an unrated recruit coming out of high school in Naperville, Illinois in the class of 2020 although he had a reported offer from Big East bottom feeder DePaul.
