After winning the John R. Wooden Award the past two seasons, former Connecticut star Breanna Stewart has since moved on to the WNBA.
That means there will be a new winner for the 2016-17 season.
The Wooden Midseason Top 25 list was revealed Wednesday, and while it included three underclassmen from top-ranked and unbeaten UConn -- Napheesa Collier, Kia Nurse and Katie Lou Samuelson -- the group also featured 14 seniors.
Washington senior Kelsey Plum, the leading scorer in the nation at 30.7 points per game, was one of five players from the Pac-12, joining Cal's Kristine Anigwe, UCLA's Jordin Canada, Stanford's Erica McCall and Oregon's State's Wiese.
