Why this year’s Apple Cup is the most relevant since 2003

The 108th Apple Cup at Husky Stadium on Friday sets up as the most meaningful game between the Huskies and Cougars since 2003. UW upset eighth-ranked WSU that year, 27-19, to avoid its first losing season in 27 years. A look at the teams then and now:
