We asked, you answered: Growth, crime top district concerns ahead of primary elections

Dozens of readers have filled out a questionnaire asking for the top issues in their city council districts. There's still time to participate.

Nearly 200 Seattle residents have shared their top neighborhood concerns using our map of reader issues by city council district.

Not surprisingly, development/growth emerged so far as a dominate theme, in part because our questionnaire went live a day after news broke about Mayor Ed Murray’s controversial idea to open up single-family neighborhoods to different types of housing. He since has backed off on that idea.

“Beyond the numbers there is a quality of life that is being lost, at least in the Ballard neighborhood,” wrote Valerie Sammons of District 6.
