If you're a fan of the Washington State Cougars, you're probably feeling pretty good about the upcoming season. To be fair, how could you not?
After last season's thrilling, and yes, surprising 11-2 run, expectations for the Cougs are high heading into the 2019 season. This year might not be such a slam dunk, though.
For one, the Cougs are without quarterback Gardner Minshew, the mustachioed hero of Pullman last year. Minshew had a historically good year, and picked apart opposing defenses with sometimes breathtaking ease. Now, they'll have to hope another leader emerges.
