The 2019 college football season might still be achingly far away for fans, but it's never too soon to start looking ahead.
The Washington Huskies are coming off an interesting 2018. They lost three winnable games, but rallied to pummel the Cougs and win the Pac-12 to earn a Rose Bowl berth. For three quarters of that contest, the Dawgs very much looked out of place, putting up little resistance against the behemoth of Ohio State. Come the fourth quarter though, they turned things around with a valiant comeback attempt that fell just short.
What's more, the Dawgs lost a veritable mountain of talent with Jake Browning, Myles Gaskin, Taylor Rapp, Ben Burr-Kirven, Greg Gaines, Kaleb McGary, JoJo McIntosh, Byron Murphy, Drew Sample and Jordan Miller departing for the NFL.
