With basketball practice underway, new Washington men’s basketball coach Mike Hopkins met with local reporters on Tuesday to discuss the 2017-18 season.
He touched on several topics, including his coaching philosophy, implementing the zone defense and expectations for a team that was 9-22 last season. He also recounted the time when freshman Jaylen Nowell re-committed to UW, which you have to see to believe.
