Washington wrapped up the regular season yesterday with a 64-56 home win over Oregon. Getting a win over the Ducks always feels good but it especially helped given the Huskies entered the day squarely on the bubble for the NCAA tournament. Head coach Tina Langley is in her 4th season in charge of the program and has yet to make the big dance. A 4-game winning streak to close out the season gave UW a fighting chance though to change that.
There is also still an opportunity for Washington to add to their tournament resume. The Huskies are the #12 overall seed in the B1G conference tournament despite finishing 9-9 overall and will take on #13 seed Minnesota.
