ROSLYN — Frank Garber went 4 under on his last four holes to lift Washington into a tie for the title of the Husky Invitational golf tournament as Corey Pereira grabbed the individual title at the Tumble Creek Club.
The Huskies played their last five holes in 10 under to mount a furious rally to tie Oregon for the title at 13-over 865.
Garber sank a 12-foot birdie on the tough 18th hole to finish off a 3-under 68 to secure the tie for the title in the 14-team tournament. Gonzaga finished sixth, Washington State seventh and Seattle University 14th.
