Washington’s Allison Northey will end her collegiate gymnastics career Friday by making her first appearance at the NCAA championships in Fort Worth, Texas. Northey will compete as an all-arounder in Friday’s first session, beginning at 11 a.m. PT.
Northey, a three-time All-Pac-12 first-team honoree in the all-around, qualified for the NCAA championship by finishing in the top-2 all-around gymnasts of those whose teams didn’t qualify at the NCAA regional meet in Salt Lake City on April 2. She took fourth overall.
Note
• WSU’s Liz Harper took seventh at the California Invitational Heptathlon at Azusa Pacific.
