The Washington Huskies may not have found the success they desired on the field in 2014; however, the teams best players managed to make a major impression on NFL talent evaluators.
The Huskies had a record three first-round selections this past weekend: Danny Shelton, Marcus Peters and Shaq Thompson. And, yes, all of those players came from the defensive side of the ball.
By the time the draft had concluded on Saturday afternoon, four Huskies had been drafted. The fourth, Hau'oli Kikaha, was selected in the second-round by the New Orleans Saints.
