Washington volleyball sweeps Oregon State

A balanced attack led by the 12 kills from sophomore Tia Scambray powered the fourth-ranked Washington volleyball team to a sweep of Oregon State at Alaska Airlines Arena on Wednesday.

Six Husky attackers had five or more kills, as Washington (16-1, 6-1 Pac-12) finished with 20 more kills than the Beavers (4-13, 2-5 Pac-12) and closed strong in all three sets for the 25-13, 25-22, 25-20 victory.

With the win, the Huskies tied a program record with 24 consecutive Pac-12 home victories dating to the first win of 2013. The run equals a mark set over the 2004-07 seasons.
