A few days after giving a verbal commitment to Oklahoma State, Washington transfer Jernard Jarreau decided to return home to New Orleans and play for the Tulane men’s basketball team.
“At the end of the day, I just thought it was the best situation for me and a better fit for me,” Jarreau told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “I get a chance to redeem myself in my city and come back home and play in front of my family and friends and try to turn that program around at Tulane. I feel like they deserve it and I deserve it.
