Washington State tied a school record with its 14th victory of the season as the Cougars came from behind to score a 3-1 victory over Washington in women’s soccer Thursday in Seattle.
The Cougars improved to 14-5 (7-4 Pac-12) to tie the school record from 2013. UW falls to 12-6-2, 5-5-1.
The Huskies opened the scoring 10 minutes into the game on a goal by Kelcie Hedge. The Cougs responded with two first-half goals (Kaitlyn Johnson and Cara Wegner) and a second-half goal by Kelsee Crenshaw.
