Another state of Washington product is going to Cleveland. Washington State wide receiver Vince Mayle was selected by the Browns with the 123rd overall pick of the fourth round of the NFL draft, making him the first player from the state to be chosen Saturday.
Mayle joins a pair of others from the Pacific Northwest who have already been selected by the Browns. Washington defensive tackle Danny Shelton was Cleveland’s first pick of the draft, going 12th overall Thursday night, and the Browns added Washington State defensive lineman Xavier Cooper on Friday in the third round.
